Job summary

Stellarus is seeking a Manager, Engineering to lead a team delivering complex services, cloud-native applications, and enterprise capabilities. This role ensures strategy, structure, talent, standards, and execution discipline to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

The manager will guide major technical decisions, manage risks, and partner with Product, Architecture, Security, Platform, and leadership to drive outcomes aligned with the company’s evolving technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years of additional relevant experience.
• 7 years of software engineering and related tech experience.
• 2 years of prior management or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog, risk, prioritization, and delegation.
• Technical fluency in cloud-native development, APIs, CI/CD, security, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with front-end and backend technologies, databases, RESTful integrations, cloud platforms, and IaC.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Security, Platform, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and delivery of complex services, integrations, cloud-native apps, and enterprise tech capabilities.
• Provide strategy, structure, talent, standards, and execution discipline for secure, scalable solutions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Architecture, Security, Platform, and senior leadership to align priorities and remove obstacles.
• Develop leaders and nurture high-performing teams through continuous learning and growth.
