Job summary

DAT Freight & Analytics in Denver, CO is seeking an Engineering Manager to build the digital backbone that powers our economy. You will combine technical leadership with mission-driven impact.

You will lead the application development process focusing on technical strategy, people management, and operational excellence; along with a strong partnership with Product Management, User Experience and Data Scientists.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in engineering management leadership roles delivering complex, scalable systems.
• Ability to mentor and lead technical projects with high ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical stakeholder and unblock the team when needed.
• Deliver end-to-end features in collaboration with product managers and designers.
• Champion operational reliability with code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Hire, coach, and retain engineering talent to foster growth and impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, UX, and data science.
