Job summary
DAT Freight & Analytics is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineering Manager to drive the mobile platform that powers our freight ecosystem. Lead technical strategy, people management, and operational excellence across cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features for drivers and shippers.
You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and partner with Product, UX, and Data Science to accelerate value delivery while maintaining reliability and performance in a fast-paced, hybrid work
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in people management.
- Experience leading a mobile engineering team.
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead technical projects with high ambiguity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer value at speed by translating logistics workflows into intuitive experiences.
- Ensure operational reliability with code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Act with integrity and ownership as a technical stakeholder.
- Build and mentor a world-class, high-performing mobile engineering team.
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, UX and data scientists.
