Job summary

Wrike is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team delivering AI-powered platform initiatives. You will own end-to-end results from discovery to rollout, balancing technical excellence with delivery, and coaching engineers to grow in their careers.

You will partner with Product and Design to align goals with company strategy, using metrics to drive value and reliability. This role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, technical leadership, or management.
• 3+ years of management experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business and product outcomes.
• Experience giving direct, timely feedback and handling difficult conversations.
• Solid engineering background and ability to discuss technical details with engineers.
• Experience planning, prioritizing, and delivering complex customer-facing projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, adapting messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in setting team goals and using metrics to drive performance.
• Proven coaching and career development skills for engineers.
• Fluency with agile development practices and iterative delivery.
• Ability to connect technical work to customer value and company strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-impact initiatives.
• Own end-to-end delivery from discovery through rollout and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Management to define goals, OKRs, and roadmap alignment.
• Prioritize work, balance scope, quality, and speed, and manage trade-offs.
• Improve processes and tooling to increase efficiency and developer experience.
• Coach engineers, support career growth, and provide timely feedback.
