Job summary

Wrike in Prague is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of engineers, product, and design, delivering high‑impact AI‑powered platform initiatives. You will own end‑to‑end results from discovery to rollout, coaching engineers, and driving delivery metrics to meet business goals.

This hybrid role requires strong collaboration with Product to align roadmaps with company strategy, and to balance quality, speed, and impact while supporting growth across a distributed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in engineering, leadership, or management.
• 3+ years of management experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record delivering measurable results and customer value.
• Strong ability to give direct feedback with clarity and empathy.
• Solid engineering background and ability to engage with engineers on designs.
• Experience planning and executing complex customer-facing projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, estimation, and phased rollouts for large, cross-functional projects.
• Own end-to-end results from discovery through rollout and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product to define and track team goals/OKRs aligned with strategy.
• Drive process improvements and leverage AI/automation to increase efficiency.
• Coach and develop team members, focusing on performance and career growth.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design as part of the triad.
