• Track record delivering customer-facing SaaS products and outcomes.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to drive design decisions.
• Partnering with product and design to hit milestones.
• Experience using AI tools to improve engineering workflows.
• Comfort with ambiguity and cross-functional collaboration.
• Daily fluency with AI in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a product engineering team with clear expectations and growth.
• Own delivery from planning through release and follow-through.
• Set priorities with product, design, and engineering leadership.
• Lead technically: review PRs, debug issues, prototype when needed.
• Drive architecture and implementation decisions with senior engineers.
• Run an AI-native team with agentic workflows and clear ownership.
• Maintain a high engineering bar across testing, security, and maintainability.
• Ensure operations health: monitoring, incident response, and on-call ownership.
• Collaborate across product and platform teams to resolve dependencies.
• Keep priorities, progress, risks, and decisions visible with evidence.
