• Six-plus years of professional software engineering experience, including time as a hands‑on senior engineer.
• Strong coding skills in a modern production codebase (TypeScript, Node.js, React) and ability to review code substantively.
• Proven track record delivering customer‑facing SaaS products with reliability and customer outcomes.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and developing engineers, with direct feedback and performance management.
• Deep technical judgment to lead architecture discussions and deliberate trade‑offs.
• Experience partnering with product and design to define priorities, scope work, and deliver milestones.
• Ability to use AI tools and agentic workflows to improve engineering work with emphasis on correctness and security.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, learning new domains, and making decisions with incomplete information.
• Clear communication and cross‑functional collaboration to own trade‑offs, risks, and next steps.
• Daily fluency with AI tools integrated into workflows.
