Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering with hands-on senior role.
• Experience in SaaS products with ownership beyond launch.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop engineers.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to lead design discussions.
• Experience partnering with product and design to define priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a product engineering team, including hiring and mentorship.
• Own delivery from planning through release with clear milestones.
• Set priorities with product, design, and engineering leadership.
• Lead technically, review PRs, debug production issues, and prototype when needed.
• Drive architecture decisions with senior engineers and leads.
• Run an AI-native team, employing AI tools to improve planning and delivery.
• Maintain high engineering bar across testing, security, and maintainability.
• Ensure operational health with monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver coherent customer experiences.
• Maintain visibility of priorities, progress, and risks with data.
