Job summary

Sanity is hiring for a growth-focused engineering leader, based in the US, with a strong background in full-stack development and engineering management. You will guide a team of engineers, shape strategy and roadmaps, and drive key growth metrics through integrations and developer tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of engineering management experience, preferably in growth or experimentation-heavy environments.
• Strong full-stack technical skills with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with backend microservices architecture (Go) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers – help them prioritize for impact, grow in their careers, and do the best work of their lives.
• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution – collaborate with product and design to decide what to build and ensure shipping.
• Drive growth metrics – activation rates, signups from integrations, developer adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Ship fast and iterate – run experiments, learn from failures, and focus on speed and pragmatism over perfection.
• Build AI developer tools – MCP integrations, agentic builders, and partnerships with platforms used by developers today.
• Build platform integrations – connect Sanity to tools teams already use, like storage providers and analytics platforms.
• Set technical direction – guide architecture decisions balancing velocity and maintainability across TS, React, Node.js, and Go microservices.
• Collaborate across the company – align with engineering leadership, marketing, and partnerships on shared growth goals.
