Job summary

Presidio is seeking an Engineering Manager in the Digital Organization to lead a hands-on product engineering team focused on cloud-native, AI-first applications. You will own delivery excellence, develop consultative engineers, and connect engagements to measurable business outcomes.

You will guide end-to-end client delivery, drive architectural decisions, and foster a culture of perpetual learning and innovation while collaborating with legal, HR, and cross-functional partners to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in technical leadership or teamlead capacity.
• Hands-on full-stack expertise (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js, React, Angular) plus data tech (SQL, Spark, Databricks) on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) with microservices/containers/serverless/infra as code.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM and GenAI apps (RAG, agents, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails) and GenAI tools like Kiro and Copilot.
• Strong consultative and communication skills: executive presence, client workshops, and problem-discovery connecting delivery to outcomes.
• Proven people leadership: coaching engineers, managing conflict, and delivering in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness to travel 0–30% as engagement needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements with high-quality outcomes and long-term relationships.
• Align execution to business value, manage risks, and provide direction in high-pressure situations.
• Guide architecture, design, and adoption of cloud-native, DevSecOps, and GenAI practices.
• Act as engagement executive when needed, with senior-level oversight on key client engagements.
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, and SOW scoping to expand engagements.
• Identify new opportunities by surfacing client needs to sales and leadership.
• Ensure staffing strategies align with delivery needs and market opportunities.
