Job summary

Presidio seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a hands-on product engineering team delivering cloud-native, AI-first applications. You will own delivery excellence, develop consultative engineers, and connect engagements to measurable business outcomes for clients.

You will guide architecture, DevSecOps, and GenAI initiatives while scaling a high-performing team across client engagements, with travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on full-stack experience (Java, C#, Python, Node.js, React, Angular) on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with microservices, containers, serverless, and IaC.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM and GenAI apps (RAG, agents, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails).
• GenAI tools and coding assistants such as Kiro and GitHub Copilot.
• Strong consultative and communication skills: executive presence and client workshops.
• Proven people leadership: coaching engineers and Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness to travel 0-30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements with high-quality outcomes.
• Drive delivery to business value and manage risks proactively.
• Guide architecture, design, and adoption of cloud-native, AI-focused engineering practices.
• Serve as engagement executive with senior-level oversight when needed.
• Partner with clients to define problems and connect engineering decisions to measurable outcomes.
• Support pre-sales, scope, and SOW development to expand engagements.
• Align staffing with client needs and practice goals.
• Promote continuous learning and thought leadership within the team.
