Job summary

Presidio is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a hands-on product engineering team embedded with client engagements. You will own delivery excellence, grow consultative engineers, and connect engagements to measurable business outcomes using GenAI accelerators.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, architecture guidance, and leadership in modern practices such as cloud-native, DevSecOps, and AI/GenAI adoption across client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
• Hands-on full-stack expertise (Java, C#, Python, Node.js, React, Angular) on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with microservices, containers, serverless, and IaC.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM and GenAI applications (RAG, agents, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails), plus using GenAI coding tools like Kiro and GitHub Copilot.
• Strong consultative and communication skills: executive presence, leading client workshops and briefings, and problem‑discovery that connects delivery to measurable business outcomes.
• Proven people leadership: coaching engineers, managing conflict and escalations with integrity, and delivering in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness and ability to travel 0–30% as engagement needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements, ensuring high‑quality outcomes that build trust and drive long‑term relationships.
• Own engagement success by aligning execution to business value, maintaining focus on intended outcomes, and managing risks proactively.
• Provide clarity and direction during complex or high‑pressure situations, enabling teams to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.
• Stay close to the work by guiding architecture, design, and adoption of modern engineering practices (cloud‑native, DevSecOps, AI/GenAI).
• Serve as an engagement executive as needed, providing senior‑level oversight and escalation support on key client engagements.
