Job summary

nCino is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a software engineering team for our retail and consumer product line. You will own the team's roadmap, resourcing, scheduling, and technical strategy while guiding engineers through complex projects.

The role requires a solid software engineering foundation, experience managing engineers, and the ability to mentor staff. Familiarity with AWS or Salesforce managed packages is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience and 2+ years in management.
• Experience mentoring technical staff.
• Strong system design and architecture knowledge.
• Proficient in more than one major programming language.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains roadmaps, resourcing plans, and schedules for the team.
• Sets technical strategy and identifies gaps in the team’s capabilities.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives and engineering standards across the department.
