Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Production Technology Development Engineering Manager to lead the PTD engineering function for solid rocket motor and energetic materials production. The role owns AI-driven manufacturing systems, mechatronics, automation, and production databases to enable scalable, compliant production.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing technology, automation and controls, production software, or a related field.
3+ years of experience leading engineering teams and setting technical direction.
Experience across two or more PTD disciplines with depth in others for leadership.
Experience leading production software or database development with programming experience (Python, C/C++, C#, SQL).
Knowledge of safety and regulatory environments including OSHA, ITAR, and hazardous materials standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team across PTD disciplines.
Own AI-driven manufacturing systems and mechatronics solutions to improve quality and throughput.
Oversee automation, controls, and production software development ensuring robustness and compliance.
Manage production databases and data infrastructure for real-time decision making.
Translate requirements into PTD roadmaps and manage project portfolio across functions.
