Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. in Pueblo, CO, seeks a Production Technology Development Engineering Manager to lead AI-enabled manufacturing, mechatronics, automation, and production software for solid rocket motor and energetic materials production.

You will build and mentor a multidisciplinary team, shape PTD roadmaps, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain NEC/UL508A/C1D1/C2D1 compliance while delivering safe, scalable production capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing technology, automation and controls, or related fields.
• 3+ years leading and developing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience across two or more PTD disciplines with depth in others.
• Proficiency in one or more languages/platforms and SDLC practices in manufacturing.
• Commitment to safety culture and ability to operate in regulated environments (OSHA, ITAR).

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary team across AI manufacturing, mechatronics, automation, and production software.
• Own development and deployment of AI-driven manufacturing systems and related solutions.
• Oversee automation, controls engineering, and production software development for robust, compliant systems.
• Own production database architecture and data infrastructure for real-time decision making.
• Translate requirements into PTD roadmaps and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
