Job summary

Owner.com is seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to lead a group of engineers in a remote-first role spanning the US and Canada. The candidate will guide fullstack teams building customer-facing surfaces and AI-assisted features for restaurant owners.

You will collaborate with Design, Product and GTM teams, driving architectural direction and best practices, while hiring and mentoring engineers to grow a high-impact organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum ~3 years in software engineering management leading fullstack teams.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React) and backend systems (Node.js).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, design and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead fullstack engineering teams across Launch and Websites, driving activation and growth features.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and AI Agents teams on high-impact initiatives.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction while mentoring engineers.
• Hire, grow, and retain high-performing engineers in a high-trust environment.
• Foster simplicity, quality, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align initiatives with company goals.
