Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (M2) to lead a team of software engineers responsible for the architectural design, reliability, and delivery of core SailPoint products. You will partner with Product Management and architecture leads to translate vision into actionable roadmaps and coach engineers to reach their potential.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, Agile/Scrum delivery, and a strong cloud-native, microservices architecture within AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in software engineering building cloud-scale systems
• 3+ years leading high-performing software engineering teams
• Strong background in Java, distributed systems, event-driven microservices and AWS

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and delivery of core SailPoint products
• Coach engineers, drive career development and high performance
• Translate product vision into engineering roadmaps and allocate resources
• Own sprint planning, risk mitigation, and delivery metrics
• Drive architectural reviews and code quality initiatives
