Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Morton, IL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team and oversee manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements and internal profitability goals.

The role focuses on directing engineers, improving process efficiency, and ensuring compliance with ITAR/EAR while maintaining strong customer interaction and project timelines in a 100% onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8 years of experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor the technical activities of assigned Engineers.
• Review and approve manufacturing processes as required.
• Ensure assigned engineering processes meet all compliance requirements including customer and Nadcap certifications.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to ensure manufacturing processes and tooling meet customer requirements and internal goals.
• Effectively interface with the customer at all levels.
• Conduct continuous process improvements to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve delivery.
