Job summary

Perdue Foods is launching a 24-month Engineering Management Trainee program (Pathways) starting June 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience in plant operations, project execution, and leadership development through rotations, mentorship, and cohort learning.

This role leads toward an Associate Plant Engineer assignment with opportunities to advance within Perdue. The program includes regional training events, phased pay progression, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0 and Bachelor’s degree completed within 24 months of Pathways start date
• Preferred concentration in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, Civil, Structural, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Willing to travel to Perdue facilities and relocate for career opportunities
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross‑functional teamwork

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across operating, support, and engineering areas to build end-to-end understanding of plant operations and project execution
• Support safety, quality, and environmental compliance while learning engineering standards and project management practices
• Assist with capital projects, cost estimates, schedules, and documentation
• Develop floor plans and equipment layouts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
