Job summary

The Engineering Leadership Development Program at Avient Corporation accelerates professional development by placing participants in multiple engineering roles across two years of rotations at Avient manufacturing sites. Participants gain hands-on experience through two or more rotations, developing technical, change management, and leadership competencies while supporting value-driven projects.

Throughout the program, Associates will receive Lean Six Sigma training and mentoring from program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience preferred (can include co-op or internship).
• Must graduate by the program start date, but no more than one year prior.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and communicate manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and revise processes to improve safety, quality and efficiency and generate cost savings.
• Research current and emerging technologies, evaluate process safety, quality and cost.
• Identify and solve issues with processes and equipment; coordinate maintenance, production and resources to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Manage capital project activity for the specification and installation of new equipment.
• Own change management projects to drive process improvement.
• Interact with Senior Management and build relationships across the globe to drive Avient’s future success.
• Other duties as assigned
