Job summary

Ema Unlimited is building AI Employees for HR, IT and Finance, and seeks an Engineering Leader to scale multiple product lines in Voice, BPO and Workforce Management. You will own the engineering organization powering Ema’s Voice AI Employees, Agent QA, auto-learning pipelines, analytics, and workforce optimization across global geographies.

You will report to the Head of Engineering, collaborate with Product, ML/AI, and GTM teams, and balance roadmaps across Voice, BPO, and WFM to meet customer

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years leading teams at high-growth startups or tech companies.
• Expertise in building real-time, data-intensive systems and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Strong track record with data stores, stream processing (Kafka/Flink), and scalable architecture.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain engineers across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable multi-tenant systems for enterprise customers across geographies.
• Design high-throughput ingestion systems for voice data and telemetry in near real-time.
• Define data stores, stream processing, and storage tier decisions balancing performance and cost.
• Champion SOLID principles and maintainable codebases across all projects.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and development of senior engineers and engineering managers.
