Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team delivering integration, design, and development of brake and clutch products. You will provide technical leadership to refine products within the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) and collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and customers.

You will guide VAVE initiatives, manage product ownership for electro‑mechanical brakes, and develop customer‑facing design solutions with CAD/FEA tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product or process development involving industrial products.
• Willingness to work hands-on to build, develop, and troubleshoot products and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, technical manuals, safety rules, publications, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 2–5 design and project engineers.
• Communicate effectively and provide leadership within the Design Engineering function and across other departments.
• Manage technical ownership and content for the electro‑mechanical brake product portfolio.
• Lead VAVE initiatives and product improvement activities within the Design Engineering department.
• Prepare customer reports communicating verification and validation results related to new designs, changes, or deviations.
• Work directly with customers on new applications and custom design solutions.
• Prepare or oversee the development of accurate engineering drawings for new or revised designs.
• Apply and oversee the use of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Develop and apply in‑depth product knowledge to specific customer applications.
• Utilize 3D solid modeling CAD software and finite element analysis (FEA) tools for product design and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to all safety rules and report questionable conditions to management.
• Travel up to 10% domestically, primarily to customer locations or other Regal Rexnord facilities.
