Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned technology executive to define and drive the long-term strategy for its Alternatives & Private Markets platform ecosystem. You will lead platform modernization, cloud adoption, and multi-year roadmaps while ensuring operational excellence and client commitments.

You will own end-to-end technology delivery across Private Markets platforms, oversee release management and production support, and embed regulatory and cybersecurity considerations into engineering

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in large-scale engineering
• Deep experience in Asset Management, Private Markets, or Financial Services
• Proven track record leading technology transformation programs
• Experience managing global teams and complex stakeholder environments
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, cloud technologies, and platform modernization
• Experience supporting investment operations and regulatory obligations

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term technology strategy for the platform ecosystem
• Drive platform modernization, cloud adoption, and architecture simplification
• Develop and communicate target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps
• Provide thought leadership on emerging tech and operating models
• Own end-to-end technology delivery across Private Markets platforms
• Ensure predictable execution while maintaining client commitments
• Establish delivery governance, metrics, and execution standards
• Lead large-scale transformation programs involving platform consolidation and modernization
• Drive engineering excellence through DevSecOps and AI-enabled productivity
• Improve resiliency, availability, and performance of critical platforms
• Embed regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements into processes
• Partner with business and leadership to align tech with outcomes
• Influence investment decisions and portfolio optimization
• Lead and develop a global org of engineering and production professionals
• Create culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
