Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Technical Manager for the Engine Specialty Engineering and Infrastructure team. You will oversee BE-IHIL Lab, V&M Lab, and CD Lab, leading a multidisciplinary group of electrical and mechanical engineers to design, develop, and operate world-class test facilities.

You will balance hands-on technical leadership with people management, set technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive execution across projects with stakeholders and program leadership.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of project management approaches and aerospace control systems.
• Experience leading small teams on fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain scope for BE-IHIL, V&M, and CD labs and align with customer needs.
• Lead and mentor engineers; ensure design reviews and compliance with standards.
• Own cross-functional execution across multiple test stations and partners.
