Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Quality Program Manager for Engine Programs to lead the design, test, and manufacture of engine systems, ensuring quality throughout the program lifecycle. You will interface with the Engine Program Office, site quality organizations, and customers to implement robust quality processes.

You will excel at solving complex problems, providing operable solutions, and working with minimal direction in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

Read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings with GD&T.
8+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in quality engineering.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between Quality and Engine Program.
Coordinate and provide quality input to Requests for Proposal.
Perform contract review of customer quality requirements and develop implementation plans.
Develop Program Quality Assurance Plan based on program requirements.
Plan resources and serve as the Program Cost Account Manager for Quality budget.
Act as the face of Blue Quality to internal and external customers.
Coordinate and track corrective actions for customer-identified nonconformances.
Present quality status and metrics at Program Management Reviews.
Support pre-ship and hardware acceptance quality reviews.
Support program-level Material Review and Risk Boards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collaborate with other QA Managers to drive RCCA improvements.
Facilitate Corrective Action Board actions and verify effectiveness.
Seek continuous improvement of quality processes, including AI/analytics use.
