Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an engineer to develop, operate, and maintain test facilities for liquid rocket engines. You will implement procedures, review data, and coordinate components with vendors to sustain high-performance test operations.

You’ll apply fluid dynamics and thermodynamics knowledge while guiding teams through schedule, cost, and safety goals in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years in a testing environment or hands-on engineering role.
  • Understanding of engineering and testing fundamentals.
  • Proven familiarity with data analysis.
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
  • Project management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ownership mindset.
  • US citizen, permanent resident, or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for liquid rocket engines.
  • Generate and implement test procedures for gas and cryogenic systems.
  • Review test data to assess facility health and performance.
  • Specify and procure components; coordinate with vendors.
  • Plan maintenance and expand facility capabilities.
  • Contribute to schedule, quality, cost, and safety management.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous safety and cost improvements.
