Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support existing manufacturing operations in our Brookings, SD facility. You will engage with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and assist with new product scale-up and commercialization.

Ideal candidates are currently pursuing an engineering degree, bring previous internship experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills. This on-site internship offers hands-on exposure in a growing healthcare-focused company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher from an accredited institution.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work on a wide range of technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility.
• Contribute to various cross functional teams/projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, experiments, and kaizen events.
• Provide support for new product scale-up and commercialization.
