Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in an on-site Columbia, Missouri facility. You will support manufacturing operations, participate in continuous improvement, and help document GMP and regulatory standards during a 10–12 week summer assignment, limited to 899 hours per service credit year.

Ideal candidates are currently pursuing an engineering degree and have strong communication skills, with relocation not authorized for this position.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Relocation not authorized.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility.
• Lead/Support Continuous Improvement Projects to identify opportunities for cost, service, inventory and execute improvement plans.
• Participating in continuous improvement projects, experiments, and kaizen events
• Troubleshoot various manufacturing issues in dealing with label and industrial problems, identify causes and implement solutions throughout the entire manufacturing workflow.
• Document per GMP practices and Regulatory standards. This may include validations, technical reports, nonconforming product reports, corrective and preventative actions, etc.
