Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to manufacturing operations, continuous improvement projects, and process optimization. You will work on GMP-compliant documentation and troubleshoot manufacturing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to help deliver safer, higher-quality healthcare solutions.

This on-site 10-12 week internship provides hands-on experience within a fast-growing healthcare company and opportunities to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, or higher from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility.
• Lead/Support Continuous Improvement Projects to identify improvement opportunities for cost, service, inventory and execute improvement plans.
• Participating in continuous improvement projects, experiments, and kaizen events
• Troubleshoot various manufacturing issues in dealing with label and industrial problems, identify causes and implement solutions throughout the entire manufacturing workflow.
• Document per GMP practices and Regulatory standards. This may include validations, technical reports, nonconforming product reports, corrective and preventative actions, etc.
