Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support existing manufacturing operations in our Brookings, SD facility. You will engage with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and assist with new product scale-up and commercialization.

Ideal candidates are currently pursuing an engineering degree, bring previous internship experience, and demonstrate strong communication skills. This on-site internship offers hands-on exposure in a growing healthcare-focused company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher from an accredited institution.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work on a wide range of technical challenges.

An internship is a temporary position within Solventum. Interns typically work a full-time schedule throughout a 10-12 week assignment during the summer of 2027. This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year.

Impact You’ll Make in this Role

• Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or higher from an accredited institution

• Previous internship experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work on a wide range of technical challenges.

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00 per hour, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
