Job summary

Solventum in Brookings, SD, is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. Interns typically work full-time for a 10–12 week assignment during the summer, with onsite responsibilities at the Brookings facility.

You will provide engineering support for existing operations, contribute to cross-functional projects, participate in kaizen events, and assist with scale-up and commercialization of new products.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, or higher from an accredited institution.
• Previous internship experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work on a wide range of technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility
• Contributing to various cross functional teams/ projects
• Participating in continuous improvement projects, experiments, and kaizen events
• Providing support for new product scale-up and commercialization
