Job summary

Schreiber Foods invites engineering students to join our Summer 2027 internship across multiple plants in the U.S. You will work on Manufacturing, Process & Operational Excellence to optimize processes and implement efficient workflows.

The program offers rich exposure to hands-on projects and cross-functional collaboration. Participants must be enrolled as students, willing to relocate for Summer 2027, and commit to at least 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Completed Sophomore-level status or higher toward a BS degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program (Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Physics or Manufacturing preferred).
• Students must be enrolled as a student during the time of the internship (Recent or previous graduates will not be considered).
• Willingness to relocate for Summer of 2027.
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 weeks during the Summer of 2027.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in pursuing a full-time career in the areas listed above.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them on time and accurately.
• Desire to grow and take on new opportunities.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing, Process & Operational Excellence Engineering: Focus on the optimization of manufacturing processes. Work on process improvements in efficiency, productivity, process capability, risk, and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient manufacturing workflows.

Education

BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Physics or Manufacturing preferred)
