Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking motivated engineering students for Summer 2027 internships across our U.S. manufacturing plants. Opportunities exist in multiple communities, with relocation assistance for eligible relocations of 50 miles or more.

This paid internship pays $22.00 per hour and runs for at least 10 weeks, typically 40 hours per week. Interns will work closely with skilled engineers across areas of engineering, gain hands-on experience, and participate in our Internship Program featuring

Qualifications

• Sophomore-level status or higher toward a BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Must be enrolled as a student during the internship.
• Willingness to relocate for Summer 2027.
• Ability to work 10 weeks in Summer 2027 and 40 hours/week.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and good communication/teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design, programming and testing of automated controls systems (Controls Engineering).
• Work with PLCs, HMIs and robotics to enhance system performance.
• Collaborate on projects involving system integration and optimization.
• Support ongoing manufacturing operations with hands-on engineering contributions.
