Job summary

Solventum, a new healthcare company, is offering an Engineering Intern role for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams in Brookings, SD on-site.

This 10-12 week internship is limited to 899 hours per service credit year. Eligible students pursuing engineering degrees, with strong communication and self-starting abilities, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher from an accredited institution.
• Previous internship experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work on a wide range of technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for existing operations in the manufacturing facility.
• Contribute to various cross functional teams/ projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects, experiments, and kaizen events.
• Provide support for new product scale-up and commercialization.
