Job summary

Border States offers a Branch Intern (Engineering) Internship within our Internship Program. The role provides real-world, project-based experience in process improvement, project management, data support, reporting, and documentation within the Grid Solutions portfolio.

The intern will support project milestones, quotes in SAP, opportunities in Salesforce, and cross-department collaboration while gaining exposure to utility and renewable sectors and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/BA in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
• Sophomore year completed with minimum GPA (if stated) and eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of business office procedures, data entry, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Track and update project milestones, deliverables, and risks within the Grid Solutions portfolio.
• Assist in creating quotes in SAP and documenting opportunities in Salesforce.
• Support scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning for projects.
• Support data reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
