Job summary

Gallo Glass in Modesto, California, is seeking an Engineering Intern to work alongside experienced engineers in a dynamic production environment. You will contribute to meaningful projects that support world-class glass packaging for the wine and spirits industry.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, process improvement, and problem solving, with opportunities to assist in multiple process areas and to learn Lean Six Sigma methodologies in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Must be 18 years or older and available for January through June 2027.
• Must be able to work on-site in Modesto, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support Hot End Forming, Cold End Inspection, Furnace/Batch, or Warehouse operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, analyze data, and assist with implementing solutions.
• Develop standardized work processes and assist with equipment optimization.
• Gain exposure to project management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
