Job summary

E. & J. Gallo Winery is offering a 6-month engineering internship in Fresno, CA. The program provides hands-on project work across reliability & maintenance, supply chain engineering, and infrastructure initiatives, with a strong emphasis on practical learning, safety, and cross-functional collaboration.

Interns will engage with engineers across facilities, develop training materials, and participate in root-cause analyses while gaining exposure to manufacturing environments and Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management OR possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
• Available for the entire duration of the internship program (6 consecutive months).
• Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan and execute projects from concept to implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Create and implement preventative maintenance strategies and analyze risks.
• Deliver products efficiently by analyzing data and applying continuous improvement techniques.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations when unplanned downtime occurs.
• Develop relationships between suppliers, engineers, planners, storeroom, mechanics and production staff.
• Present findings to other functions within the company and gather feedback.
• Multi-task and prioritize time between different projects.
