Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to manage operations and budgets for the Highland Inn property. You will oversee the physical plant, equipment, and life safety systems, while driving cost control and long-term asset protection.

Relocation assistance is available. This exempt, salaried role requires a strong background in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing and supervision of engineering teams to meet budgetary goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in engineering and maintenance management.
• Experience handling budgets and operating statements.
• Proficient in coordinating with property and regional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Operations and Budgets.
• Oversee physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and water treatment.
• Administer service contracts to support property needs.
• Ensure life safety systems compliance and building licenses/certifications.
• Coach and develop engineering leadership to control expenses.
• Develop and manage engineering budgets and long-term asset plans.
• Communicate goals clearly to the team and owners as needed.
