Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years in engineering/maintenance or related area.
• Alternative: 2-year degree with 4 years in engineering/maintenance and related training.

Responsibilities

• Managing Engineering Operations and Budgets
• Works with leadership to compare performance against budget and raise concerns
• Manages the physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
• Administers service contracts for property needs
• Ensures life-safety systems and compliance with regulations
• Coaches engineering leadership to manage controllable expenses
• Develops and manages engineering budget and long-term maintenance plans
• Reviews financial reports to assess budget performance
• Communicates goals to produce desired results
• Supervises construction to ensure timely completion within budget
• Maintains engineering standards and licenses
• Manages controllable expenses and capital expenditure goals
• Participates in payroll and budgeting processes
