Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Manager of Engineering & Maintenance to lead maintenance, engineering, facilities, and related operations across the resort. You will act as a guest advocate and advisor to the General Manager, driving asset performance and safety while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities include developing PDPs, coaching staff, managing budgets, analyzing staffing, and ensuring brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Engineering discipline degree or trade training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in hospitality maintenance engineering management.
• Minimum 1 year leading front line staff.
• Knowledge of building physical plant systems and maintenance management.
• Proven project management fundamentals.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and 4+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, engineering, facilities, grounds, and related operations.
• Develop PDPs and coach maintenance staff for performance growth.
• Assess staffing and resources to hit targets and manage succession planning.
• Ensure guest-focused decisions and respond to service issues to boost satisfaction.
• Model brand culture and balance budget goals with team success.
• Oversee preventative care programs and manage vendor contracts for specialized skills.
• Develop departmental budgets and manage resources within budgets.
