Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in engineering/maintenance leadership.
• Experience leading teams in industrial, distribution, manufacturing, or large commercial environments.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building automation, and facility systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineering and maintenance professionals.
• Direct day-to-day engineering, maintenance, and facility operations across four buildings.
• Establish work schedules, priorities, and cross-train for continuity.
• Provide hands-on leadership on complex building systems issues and reliability.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and optimization of facility infrastructure and controls.
• Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure safety and quality.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset life.
• Partner with client stakeholders on operational requirements and capital planning.
• Support budget development, forecast maintenance expenditures, and identify cost-savings.
• Analyze KPIs to improve reliability and facility performance.
• Champion safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
