LHH is looking for an Executive Recruiter to join our Engineering Practice Area in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This hybrid role involves full-cycle recruiting and client engagement, focusing on placements in the engineering sector.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of recruiting experience, particularly in engineering. We offer a competitive base salary starting at $50K plus commission and a robust benefits package including medical and retirement plans.

This position is a hybrid opportunity, working on-site 3x a week and remote 2x a week. We specialize in connecting top-tier engineering professionals with organizations in Northern & Central New Jersey. This role blends full-cycle recruiting with client engagement, focusing on direct hire placements in the engineering sector.

We understand that every job opening is more than a role to fill, and every candidate is more than a resume. Our recruiters work closely with both clients and candidates to ensure the right fit that drives business success.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level engineering positions.
• Partner with clients to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Conduct resume screening, behavioral interviews, and competency-based evaluations.
• Negotiate fee agreements and manage placement documentation.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on engineering industry trends, roles, and talent needs.
• Administer job postings and track candidate data in internal systems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both active and passive candidates.
• Participate in client site visits to better understand organizational goals and culture.
• Ensure compliance with hiring and onboarding processes.
• Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
