Job summary

CTG is seeking an Engineering Document Control Specialist in Whiting, IN to manage engineering drawings and technical records within an EDMS environment. The role supports maintenance, TAR projects, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, maintenance, and project teams.

Candidates should have at least 3 years in information management or a related field, with experience handling drawings and metadata.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in information management or an engineering-related field.
Experience managing engineering drawings and technical documents.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD with the ability to perform minor drafting updates.
Ability to interpret redlines and coordinate drawing updates with CAD drafters.
Familiarity with EDMS like ALIM or SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering drawings, revisions, and redline updates per standards and document control requirements.
Control check-in/check-out processes to ensure versioning accuracy and drawing integrity.
Maintain metadata, audit trails, and history in EDMS (ALIM/SharePoint).
Coordinate drawing updates and documentation workflows across engineering, maintenance, project, and TAR teams.
Serve as a primary contact for drawing requests and coordination across groups.
Ensure compliance with drawing standards and document control procedures; perform audits and corrective actions.
