Job summary

The role focuses on driving process improvements, managing performance, and delivering technical expertise to production and quality personnel to optimize manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of related engineering experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced skills in a Windows environment and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of applied metallurgy for precision metal manufacturing.
• Knowledge of intermediate mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM manufacturing and manufacturing application software.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and communicate corporate vision, mission, and strategies to departmental teams.
• Direct activities of multiple engineering groups supporting production and assembly.
• Build a strong sense of teamwork and purpose within the department.
• Establish robust cross-department relationships.
• Communicate status of requirements and changes from meetings to relevant personnel.
• Ensure departmental compliance with corporate policies and ISO procedures.
• Review, monitor, and provide input for ISO compliance improvement.
• Manage time and attendance records.
• Develop equipment and processes to aid manufacturing.
• Conduct performance reviews, training, mentoring, and apply warning procedures to maximize effectiveness.
• Provide technical expertise to departmental, production, and quality personnel.
• Minimize waste of materials, manpower, equipment, and resources.
