Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• 10+ years in electronic manufacturing/EMS with 5+ years supporting NPI.
• Experience leading engineering teams in SMT/PCBA environments.
• Knowledge of PCBA processes, high-level assemblies, and related technologies.
• Experience in regulated industries (aerospace/defense/medical) preferred.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Customer-facing ability to communicate technical information to customers and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of IPC/J-STD requirements; CAD tools experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; understanding of business finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Engineering and Document Control teams, setting priorities and resources.
• Coach and mentor staff to build technical capability and cross-functional collaboration.
• Establish engineering processes, standards, and performance expectations.
• Develop an engineering technology roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead customer interactions to evaluate designs, requirements and process improvements.
• Oversee NPI participation from quotation through production, ensuring smooth transitions.
