Job summary

The Public Interest Technology (PIT) Crew within the NYC Office of Technology and Innovation is hiring an Executive Director of Engineering to shape the direction of the PIT Crew. 10+ years of experience building consumer technology.
Experience designing, hiring and composing high-performing teams.
Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams across disciplines.
Comfort with ambiguity and strategic problem-solving.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate upwards with clarity to executives.
