Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. seeks a senior Project Engineer/Engineering Leader to guide the engineering team in a Green Bay, WI converting/manufacturing setting. You will provide technical leadership, optimize safety and productivity, and ensure adherence to sanitary design standards across projects.

The role requires 10+ years in project leadership, strong cross-functional collaboration, and DMADV experience is preferred. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates within 50+ miles.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years project/process engineering leadership in a converting/manufacturing environment.
• Strong facilitative leadership skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
• Strong focus on results.
• Be self-motivated with high personal and ethical standards.
• Detailed knowledge of sanitary facility and equipment design principles, OSHA, GMPs and related regulations.
• Design experience to include packaging, automation, material handling, product handling, process and sanitary design.
• Project management experience to include contracts, scope development, and project accounting, with the ability to manage and teach.
• Ability to lead others to ensure projects are executed in a consistent/standardized approach.
• DMADV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee activities of the engineering team to achieve priorities.
• Provide technical leadership in technology and IP to Schreiber conversion processes.
• Provide expert consulting and standards development to optimize safety, quality and productivity.
• Establish objectives with business teams and assign projects accordingly.
• Develop project plans, scope, and controls; monitor changes to designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
• Audit teams for conformance with standards; report status to management.
• Identify opportunities to reduce labor and improve quality and efficiency.
• Support process design for new products and line extensions.
• Coordinate training and development; monitor progress of partners.
