Job summary

Novolex is seeking a BU Engineering Director to lead engineering across an assigned business unit, supporting operational performance, manufacturing readiness, reliability improvement, and capital project execution across multiple plants.

The role coordinates跨-functionally to align engineering standards and drive prioritized initiatives, while coaching engineers and shaping capacity and efficiency improvements at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, reliability engineering, or technical operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership or technical leadership experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Experience supporting high‑volume manufacturing operations across 20+ plants.
• Experience improving throughput, uptime, reliability, yield, scrap reduction, and process capability.
• Experience supporting capital project planning, execution, startup, stabilization, and handoff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, engineering standards, and procedures.
• Lead engineering activities across the business unit operations.
• Coach and develop Operating Unit Engineers.
• Drive process optimization and reliability improvements across sites.
• Advise on enterprise engineering standards, tools, governance, and best practices.
