Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, drive safety and preventive maintenance programs, and manage spare parts inventories across the facility. You will oversee capital projects and equipment improvements to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with hands-on shop-floor experience, strong communication, and the ability to shift and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, GPA 3.0
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing shop-floor environment
• Desire for Manufacturing Management
• Keen interest to excel as a manager in a performance-driven environment
• Flexible to shift work and travel/relocation; must have US work eligibility

Responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance team to achieve facility goals and objectives; communicate goals; provide resources; lead meetings.
• Plan and manage preventative/predictive maintenance; coordinate with production and maintenance teams.
• Develop safety training; provide annual refreshers; ensure compliance with safety and environmental programs.
• Lead equipment improvements and capital projects; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee maintenance inventory and spare parts; ensure availability of critical parts.
• Coordinate bids, analyze contractor work; schedule maintenance of support equipment and weekend work as needed.
