Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Unit Manager to provide leadership, direction, and accountability for assigned departments or product lines within a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The role focuses on safety, production, quality, people, and financial objectives while developing a high-performing team and driving continuous improvement.

You will supervise up to 150+ salaried and hourly staff, ensuring resources, equipment, and processes meet customer and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum five years manufacturing experience with supervisory/leadership exposure.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and data-driven decision abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads 24/7 manufacturing operation across departments or product lines.
• Supervises up to 150+ salaried and hourly employees.
• Monitors safety, production metrics and quality to meet goals.
• Develops and maintains a high-performing team and ensures continuous improvement.
• Backs up Plant Manager as needed and leads in their absence.
